At the end of the 19th century there were steelworks located in the area. Over the years, these buildings had acquired the function of residential buildings and now they will be transformed into a modern B-class office building complex. The building complex will consist of two interconnected buildings, which will include modern offices and commercial premises. The buildings will be equipped with lifts, a beautiful and cozy lobby for short conversations with visitors. The courtyard will be set up as a small amphitheater. Its benefits will definitely be enjoyed during wonderful summer days. The complex will have easy access for both pedestrians and cyclists, as well as sufficient parking spaces. Construction of the complex will be completed by the end of 2015. The buildings will be equipped with state-of-the-art telecommunications, ventilation and cooling systems.
The author of the reconstruction of the building complex is the architect Pēteris Bajārs, who has created a new and modern architecture while respecting the historical features and requirements of the buildings. The constructive solution of the building will change completely, allowing for the construction of comfortable and cozy offices.
